Your Imagination, A Most Valuable Asset
November 19th, 2007
Your imagination helps you expand your potential because it helps you reach beyond the part of your brain that wants to judge and analyze everything. Your imagination is one of your most valuable assets!
Einstein once said, “Imagination is more important than knowledge.” That is true for many reasons, not least of which is – the imagination triggers a part of your brain that acts like a switch to unleash neurochemicals to help you overcome another part of your brain that wants to keep you on autopilot. Your imagination uses your EEM, or Emotional Experiential Memory to support you. It makes the difference between the goals that work and the ones that don’t.
There is also a passage in A Course In Miracles that goes something like this … “Projection makes perception. The world you see is what you gave it, nothing more than that. … So, seek not to change the world but choose to change your mind about the world.”
So, another way to say this – trying the change the world instead of what you’re projecting into it, is like trying to change the effect instead of the cause. That’s where your imagination comes in! Your imagination changes what you project and therefore what you will attract… back to the Law of Attraction and Like attracts like.
The Bottom Line – You improve your outer world by planting constructive seeds with your imagination!
So embody the goal and the vision, and embrace the treasure or experience you desire. Whether that’s more time with your family, steady streams of income, droves of ideal customers, a new shiny convertible, high fives from your neighbors, or permanently shedding that ten pounds you’ve repeatedly been gaining and losing… you must first believe that it is so!
Your imagination helps you believe!
