Your Built-In Dreamcatcher

Dreamcatcher WORD COUNT: 300 Short, Yet Enchanting Words

TIME to PLEASANT DREAMS: * About 2 Minutes  *

What are the natural elements of a dream realized?

Does it begin with a burning desire? Where does that initial spark come from?

Perhaps we observe or experience something… and that triggers a thought. Sometimes the idea is faint in the beginning, but then grows in intensity.  Sometimes it’s like the big bang; we know exactly what we want with absolute clarity!

Within every dream, there is a feeling motivating us. That emotion may be a desire for greater ease, peace, security, connectedness, love or appreciation, for example. There are thousands of words we could choose to describe what we want to expand in our
experience. But in the end, we want something… because we think “it” will help us feel better.

Our thoughts branch off like webbing on a dreamcatcher. And the direction of our thoughts, determine what we attract.

If our thoughts stay on the irritant that caused us to seek something better, we will continue to recreate the stuff we don’t want.

So in order to catch the dream, we need to move our thoughts toward what we really want to experience. The journey may begin with a thought that gives us relief, and that can branch off into hope, and ultimately belief. And when desire and belief are one, we are living the dream!

We create living nightmares when we don’t allow ourselves to feel better. So all we really have to do is choose to make the quality of our journey our greatest priority.

For the joy we are seeking is within us, and our emotions will always tell us if we’re weaving enchanting excursions, or painful hazards. Would you like the Twitter version?

To catch our dreams we first seek relief, then travel toward belief. Our greatest treasures are found in the emotional journey!

Your friend and partner in pleasant dreams,

P.S. We’re in day 10 of “The Great  Experiment”. Are you weaving desire with belief?
