When Less is More
June 15th, 2009WORD COUNT: 168 SHORT, Yet CENTERING Words
TIME to ALIGN: * Less than 30 Seconds *
When in doubt, think less and feel more. Further analysis doesn’t always produce better answers. In fact, the opposite is often true. Trust your instincts, for they will serve you well.
If you’re struggling to achieve an important goal, this is a perfect time to work less, and play more. For a light heart will give you the outlook and strength you need to succeed.
When you think you need more time, slow down. You’ll finish faster, and lessen the stress. As we quicken our pace, we’re far more likely to make mistakes, which ultimately requires more time for corrections.
So whenever you feel rushed, strained, or doubtful that’s simply an indicator to adjust your focus.
Pause and bring in more of the opposite quality to realign with what you need.
Although “less is more” may seem counterintuitive at first glance, it works because it brings you back to center. This is the place where your inner wisdom reigns, and your natural gifts can guide you confidently forward.
