Use Your Imagination to Expand Your Concept of What’s Possible
November 14th, 2007As you look at all of these examples of what could be … what resonates with you? What do you want to do, be or create? If you had more time, where would you spend it? If failure wasn’t in your vocabulary … what would you choose? How would you describe a great life?
As you contemplate your idea of a great life, consider the words of Norman Vincent Peale, a champion of positive thinking, who said it beautifully with these words:
” By the good life, I mean one that is intensely interesting, even exciting. It is a life that is full of meaning and rich in satisfaction. Such a life is not free of difficulties or problems; of course not. But it does possess the power to overcome them and to attain victorious levels of experience. The good life is based on a definitive value system in which joy and enthusiasm serve as both cause and effect.”
Resist that little voice inside of you that may be saying this isn’t possible … or I’ve tried that before and it didn’t work, there’s not enough time in the day or … how could I ever get it all done? Just observe those thoughts with curiosity and without going into self-criticism. Let them drift by you and turn your attention instead to a better thought, one that supports you and lifts you up.
Believe in yourself for you are so much more than you may imagine! You are only limited by your ability to conceptualize what’s possible.
So… unleash your imagination… reach for what inspires you and you will truly know that you are indeed extraordinary!
Many thrills to you on your journey!
