To Have… To Do… To Celebrate

Would you like to experience more joy, greater success and less stress?
Then choose to embrace more pleasure and have more fun!
I know this may sound overly simplistic, but consider the impact. How would your life change if you made it your mission to truly enjoy your journey?
It would mean you’d allow yourself to get really excited about “what is” and “what could be”!
The TO DOs would get done and in less time than you might think, because you’ve made it your mission to have more fun.
You’d know that your actions were opportunities to play, explore and discover more things to appreciate.
So skip the long TO DO list for now and instead, create a TO HAVE list. Think about all of the simple things you really love.
Here are a few of my favorites to spark your imagination.
- A long walk in my favorite forest.
- Sitting by the ocean with my husband, feet buried in the sand, breathing in the salt air.
- Watching my Golden Retrievers jump over the waves, and chase tennis balls in our driveway.
- Calling a friend or family member just to say I love you.
- Just being…no schedules…no have-tos…just appreciating life.
- Kayaking though the canals that run through my neighborhood on a quite afternoon.
- Sitting in the middle of my favorite bookstore perusing books that call to me from the miles of surrounding shelves.
- Playing a good natured joke on a friend who could use a really good laugh.
- Getting lost in a favorite song, connecting with the lyrics or swaying to the melody.
- Dancing cheek-to-cheek.
