TIME to KNOW PEACE : * About 1 Minute *
Continuing forward with the wisdom of the heart, I thought it only appropriate to share a master’s wise and nourishing words.
Here from the 14th Dalai Lama are his principles for living a life from the wisdom of the heart. May they serve you well personally and professionally.
”The Wisdom of the Heart”
~ The 14th Dalai Lama Tenzin Gyatso, 1989 Nobel Peace Prize Laureate
1) Be kind whenever possible. It is always possible.
2) Open your arms to change, but don’t let go of your values.
3) Sleep is the best meditation.
4) Spend some time alone every day.
5) We can never obtain peace in the outer world until we make peace with ourselves.
6) Remember that not getting what you want is sometimes a wonderful stroke of luck.
7) We can live without religion and meditation, but we cannot survive without human affection.
8) Happiness is not something ready made. It comes from your own actions.
9) If you can, help others; if you cannot do that, at least do not harm them.
10) The ultimate authority must always rest with the individual’s own reason and critical analysis.
May you know great joy and abundance in every direction you look. Reach always for the best in all matters, large and small, to discover the treasure that is all around you.
