TIME to BELIEVE IN YOUR DREAMS: * About 10 MINUTES *
We each receive immense gifts from our beliefs. We are also victims of our belief systems.
In the areas where you are experiencing joy and ease, your beliefs and desires are in agreement. In the areas of struggle and pain, the beliefs and desires are not aligned.
The same principles are at work, regardless of the outcome. What you believe, you receive.
Yet we tend to think that counterproductive beliefs are difficult to change. We wonder, how can I possibly move forward, and why is this so hard?
But letting go of beliefs that no longer serve you, only seems hard, because you believe that is so. And on some level, we have all experienced attachment to our perceived limitations. There’s an aspect of ourselves that gets something from the undermining attachment to not getting what we want. Perhaps we’re afraid of the unknown… or of our own greatness. But in this, you are not alone. So resist the temptation to sink into self-deprecation.
Instead ask yourself, am I willing to suspend my counterproductive beliefs for a period of 30 days? Am I willing to try?
For your intention will mobilize the energy and focus needed to expect, and therefore receive, the goodness you want to expand in your experience!
So here’s an experiment that’s sure to bring you to higher state of belief in an area that’s not materializing as you’d like. But it requires initiative; you must be willing to take action on your own behalf!
If you’re willing to try, then turn off the phone, shut the door to distractions, and give yourself 8 to 10 minutes to complete this exercise. To help you stay on track, I’ll offer you encouragement and gentle reminders in every Discovery Message for the next 30 days.

1) What elusive event or goal do you truly want to experience? State your desire here in 1 or 2 sentences.
2) Read and accept daily these words, for the next 30 days.
For this moment in time, I suspend all ineffective beliefs about [Insert Your Goal or desired Outcome Here]. They are now inactive and exert no power over me. I now consciously accept the belief that I can, and will receive what I desire. For it is for my highest good. I place myself into the hands of my Divine Spirit. And through Self-hypnosis I completely and totally accept that my desire
and belief are one. There is no conflict within me, because I do this through my own volition, with conscious awareness. I sit quietly imagining the best, and act as if the belief in this desire is mine completely. I release this declaration with gratitude and peace knowing that belief and desire are now one. And so it is.
3) After step 2, visualize, write, or imagine that you are living your goal with ease and grace. Do this daily for 8 to 10 minutes. Believe that you are confident, happy, thin, healthy, wealthy, wise or whatever you desire. Feel the corresponding emotion of health, gratitude, compassion, joy, self-love, knowingness… or whatever state allows you to feel the desired inner essence of the outward goal.
Know that you are applying your divine energy to imagine, and therefore create, positive situations, support, infinite resources, and ease. Don’t compare where you are now to where you want to be. Stay in the script of being and doing your highest desire. You are exerting your intentions in the present moment, which is where your personal power resides! As you imagine the best, feel that your desire is now yours. It is done, perfect and complete!
4) Do this every morning faithfully. Schedule it now for the next 30 days and at the end of this experiment, you will have rewired your neurological pathways to support you fully. You need not dwell on what was, or uproot every underlying cause of disbelief. To do so will only keep you there.
If done faithfully, you will begin to see the outward evidence of your inward journey! The only way to know, is to try. And as you take care of the other business in front of you, try to make feeling good your highest priority. Find reasons to be happy, think of people and things you appreciate, find moments of inner peace, breathe deeply, take a walk in a nearby park, or do whatever helps you feel happy.
Sweet success is yours for the asking!

The inspiration for this exercise came from a number of wonderful resources and gifted spiritual adventurers. The first is “The Nature of Personal Reality” A Seth book by Jane Roberts, originally
published in 1974. The second is the teachings of Ernest Holmes and Spiritual Mind Treatment. Dr Holmes was a prolific writer and spiritual philosopher who published his textbook “Science of Mind”
in 1938. He went on to share countless other writings. And last, but certainly not least, are the teachings of Abraham as shared by Jerry and Esther Hicks.
