Setting the Law of Attraction in Action

November 9th, 2007

Planning is simply a series of questions you use to help you align with what you want to create, so you can get where you want to go faster and with greater ease. Planning is part of the creative process. For every minute you spend planning, you can save two minutes of wasted energy and time. Why? Because the process of preparing helps you make mindful decisions that are aligned with your Personal Success Statement and your assets and opportunities. Keep planning light and simple. Don’t make this another thing on your To Do list… Like must plan on Tuesday!

Use your imagination to stir the soul and you’ll find the next best steps become obvious. Nurture your spirit as you plan by having fun with the process!

1. Start with the desired outcome to describe what you want to do, be or have given your vision of an ideal lifestyle and business.
Here you are answering the question – what actions will help me realize my vision of an ideal lifestyle and business?
2. Consider your Gifts & Skills. Ask, what skills or talents will best support my desired outcome?
3. Think about your resources. Consider, what do I already have or what can I easily access to help me reach my goal? This helps you take the best route possible.
4. Decide who you can help you and who can be helped by your goal. Considering the talents needed, who can help you?Is there someone who would also benefit from your goal? We create symbiotic realtionships with a friend, family member, partner, employee, independent contractor etc. when we build something that benefits everyone involved.
5. Targeting a  “when” can help you stay focused, but beware of the over-scheduling trap. There’s a delicate balance between time integrity and creative flow. When we get too focused on dates, we can stress out … too little and we can find ourselves getting easily distracted. Perhaps a better way to stay focused is to review your Personal Success Statement and goals daily. Try letting your highest dreams inspire focus, rather than the scarcity of time. The point is, use what moves you steadily forward and allows you to enjoy the jounrey!
Happy Planning!
