Let’s Talk About the Ego!
March 2nd, 2009“There is just one life for each of us; our own.”

WORD COUNT: 192 Short, Yet Healthy Words
TIME to Be Yourself: Less than 1 Minute
The ego is often given a bad rap, but it’s actually part of healthy individuation. It helps you be the unique person you are meant to be. A healthy ego allows us to grow as an individual, and supports a strong sense of Self, personal power, and freedom.
When balanced, it allows you to make choices that are aligned with your essential self, or Spirit. For without the Ego, a healthy boundary would not be possible.
Too much ego, and we try to push our will onto others, and think we know what’s best for other people. We all appreciate that we can only really know what’s best for ourselves, and that can be hard enough at times!
Too little ego and we can’t make authentic decisions. Without a strong enough boundary, we’re more susceptible to being controlled by other people’s opinions and ideas about who we should be.
The primary role of a healthy ego is … it lets you be YOU!
So we need a healthy ego to live the life we were meant to live! So don’t leave home without it!
