There’s a saying among writers – be prepared to kiss some frogs.
Like any artist, there will be moments in your business and personal life that what you create, say or do will be far from perfect.
That’s okay. For it isn’t always necessary or possible to create a masterpiece. We will have moments when we stumble; that’s just part of the rhythm of life. Sometimes 80% is all we can do, and that is good enough.
Quality is an important attribute. But, don’t allow perfection to stop you from venturing into new territory, or from releasing something that may not be perfect, but is certainly good and valuable.
Let sincere effort and service to others be your fuel. As you move forward, your skills, gifts and contributions will grow with your confidence.
Avoid the perfection trap that leads to inaction and self-doubt. For there is no limit to what you can be, do or have, if you believe in yourself and are persistent.
Kiss the frogs and watch the magic happen!
