Is opportunity knocking at your front door?

We open the door and invite in opportunity, when we acknowledge that the potential for a favorable outcome rests within every experience. No matter how things may appear at first glance, there’s always the potential for a thoroughly rewarding result.

But we must be willing to open the door, and invite opportunity in.

When we use the imagination to pre-pave the way for positive outcomes, we are training the mind in a very powerful way. Each and every day we use our imagination, whether we are conscious of it or not.

How are you exercising your creative abilities? Are you replaying footage of past mistakes, or other people’s negative expectations… or are you seeing something inspiring and helpful?

Like any discipline, the more you practice, the better you become. So as you exercise your imagination to expect the best, the more you’ll expand positive outcomes in your experience. The alternative is to envision the stuff you don’t really want to create. Either way, your imagination will pre-pave the way for you.

For every event was once a possibility. The event you’re experiencing now, was just one of an infinite variety of effects that could have materialized.

We significantly increase the probability of a positive outcome, when we train ourselves to expect them; it’s really that simple. For example, it’s far easier to solve a problem,  when we expect to find the solution. And it’s much easier to feel happy, prosperous, or enthusiastic, if we expect that to be part of our experience.

So today as you read this, imagine that good fortune is at your front door! Now, answer the door and invite it in! Imagine what it looks like, and really revel in how it feels! Allow yourself to be happy, appreciative, exhilarated, and therefore aligned… with the good fortune that is now yours!
