In Step with Positive Momentum

WORD COUNT:  698  Short, Yet Liberating Words

TIME to Affirmative Advancement:  * Less than 5 Minutes! *

Can you recall a recent experience that came together beautifully? Perhaps it was a goal realized, or a pleasant surprise that surpassed your wildest expectations? Maybe you can remember a small step that took you in the direction of your greatest goals and dreams.

Find a rewarding experience, no matter how small it may seem, and revel in it now for a few moments.

Celebrate your accomplishments, and don’t allow the small steps to go unnoticed. For these inklings of positive progress … are indicators of even bigger things to come, as long as we don’t discount them, because they aren’t big, or bold enough.

We accelerate positive progress when we focus upon our advances, no matter how small that progress might seem. But, if we choose to dismiss the small steps, we stifle positive momentum.

If we disregard forward movement, it’s a lot like turning away from the desired destination, and heading back to start. Which is why it can take us so long to align with our goals! We take a step forward, then turn around and head back. It can help to picture goal alignment as a road on a map. On one end is your starting position, on the other is your desired  destination.

Your focus determines whether you’re heading in the direction you truly desire. When we celebrate each positive step forward, and appreciate the rewarding aspects in our current experiences, we speed our progress!

So, here are 7 simple strategies to help you build joyful momentum. Although they may appear simple, they can help you step out of the intense activity of the “Human Doing” and into empowering progress!

1) Recognize your accomplishments each day, no matter how small they might seem. You’ll feel great, and the more you do this, the bigger your achievements will become! For what you focus upon will always expand in your experience!

2) Enjoy and appreciate what you have now. For this is how you increase your capacity to receive even greater gifts, abundance and positive progress!

3) Connect regularly with the higher purpose, or the divine spark that inspired the goal. Ask yourself, why do I really want this? Focus on how aligning with your goal feels. Then let your desire fuel your passion beyond perceived difficulties, fears, or obstacles!

4) Embrace every experience as an opportunity to learn and grow! For there is value in every situation, even in the supposed failures. Ask, what did my soul want me to learn from this experience? What belief or perspective am I holding onto that I’m ready to release, or revise? Once we harvest the gold, by discerning the liberating truths of the experience, we’re no longer destined to repeat it! We can move positively forward, much wiser and happier!

5)  Take a break when your body tells you it’s time. Whether you invest 5 minutes or 15 days, it’s important to balance the excitement of intense activity, with a sense of ease and leisurely recreation. A break in activity refreshes your soul, and actually helps you align with positive progress. For rest and relaxation will refuel, refresh, and revitalize your creativity!

6) Take action not because you “have to”, but because you love it! We can radiate the energy of “getting it done”, or we can radiate “love and hopeful anticipation”. Which do you want to attract? For you get back, what you project. So aligning with the desired feeling will allow you to enjoy the journey now, and give you far greater leverage than revising plans or creating longer lists. Right thought leads to right action… and your desired results!

7) Move your body. Seriously, physical movement sheds stagnate energies, and allows your creative juices to flow freely. Even a few minutes of stretching or walking interspersed throughout your day, can help you align with empowering perspectives!

As you scan this list, what will you add to your tool box to live fully into your greatest goals and dreams?

Have fun with the unfolding of your desires, for there are many wondrous adventures, and delightful days ahead!
