Expect a Miracle

As I was journaling about my recent retreat, these words came to me.
“Expect a miracle, and you will receive one.”
When we ask ourselves a question, expecting an answer, the information always comes. This reality I have absolute faith in, because I experience it, without fail in my own life. Yet there are other areas in which things don’t come quite as easily. Perhaps you can relate?
In working with clients and when talking to friends, I often marvel at how we can expect positive outcomes in one area, yet struggle in another.
Common examples are: being really good at receiving the answers you need when you need them, but not expecting the best in financial matters … or having absolute trust in your ability to perform well at work, but doubt your own value in a personal relationship.
I realize that it can be difficult to expect the best if we’re looking at opposing viewpoints, reading the morning news of doom and gloom, or looking at past mistakes.
And this is exactly why we must shift our focus toward empowering expectations, if we are to create a different outcome.
So, what area of your life could use a miracle today?
Expect one, and you will receive it.

We experience miracles everyday, if we allow ourselves to see them. Consider your own good fortune, windfalls and events in your life that just seemed to magically fall into place. They are there if you look for them.
And if miracles happen in one area, they will come in another, if you expect them!
The power is in your perspective. So choose the view that lifts you up and empowers you!
