The famous bard Taliesin was buried in a tomb near the River Dovey in Wales. For centuries many believed that if they slept on his tomb, they would awaken a poet.
Like many legends, there are grains of truth embedded within. Perhaps this legend reminds us of the power of our dreams. If we read poetry, or ask a question before sleep, we can enliven the imagination, and allow profound insights to surface. Read a favorite poem, revel in a symbol or image before sleep, and open yourself up to a grand adventure!
