We need not accept the truth of another. We can decide that what’s in print or broadcast, is not our view of reality. Each of us can create a  perspective that is uniquely our own.

To choose for oneself is personal discernment and empowered living. It is deciding how we will focus and what we will believe, rather than unconsciously accepting the words and views of another.

Look to the news and the business section. Where are many of these publications focused? The vast majority of print and television coverage is focused upon downturns and uninspiring news. Yet I see everyday in my own business, many stories of people and organizations who are thriving. This is my reality.

I’m not saying we should deny that there are those who are struggling. Certainly this is true. But to focus upon it, and then buy into it as your reality, is counterproductive.

For you can not thrive if you focus upon those who are not thriving. You can not find solutions, if you’re looking only at the problems. You can’t choose a better reality, if you’re directing your attention toward circumstances that are not aligned with your desired destination.

So look toward what you want to experience, and it will multiply. Imagine the best outcomes that you can, from wherever you are, and your results must improve. Take right action, always expecting the best and you can not fail.

To discern is divine. For it allows you to discover the wisdom that lies within every problem. And when you judge for yourself, you’re able to proceed confidently in the direction that is best for you.

Divine Discernment: (verb )

Definition: To  recognize and understand for oneself. To determine one’s own truth, and differentiate between what is and is not wanted. To discover daily and to stand in one’s own light.
