Choosing Right Action
November 30th, 2007
Right action is activity or “doing” that is aligned with what you truly desire … that also takes the best route from where you are, in the present moment.
The best route may or may not be the shortest. For isn’t it more fun to intentionally choose the most enjoyable path given your current resources and circumstances?
Knowing right action requires us to be fully present. That means making conscious choices with awareness of cause and effect.
So it’s moving positively forward toward that which you truly desire. Sometimes it may mean taking a nap, and at other times it may mean taking a deep breath and shifting to the best feeling or thought you can find… so you can check off that task you’ve been avoiding for the past two weeks. And won’t it be absolutely delightful when it’s off the list?
Right action is choosing to enjoy your journey!
