Celebrating Positive Progress

WORD COUNT: 652 Brief, Yet Liberating Words

TIME to ALIGN: * About 7 MINUTES  *

In order to make positive progress, we must learn to say no to the distractions. This means saying NO to over-analysis, doubt, other people’s opinions, and your inner critic. It also means saying NO to the fears and anxieties that aren’t supporting where you really want to go.

Sit quietly for a few moments. Relax and release tension and open yourself up to playing with these ideas, and how they might help you. Breathe in peace and quiet your mind. When you feel calm and at ease, continue reading.

Ask your Higher Self, what one step can I take today to align with my goal? Is there something that I have been avoiding that will help me move positively forward?

HINT: Fears often masquerade as procrastination, second guessing yourself, not wanting to impose, or “emergencies”.  So if you’re not moving forward with something that will help you align with an important goal, pause now and look at it, head on. Acknowledge it.

A fear really has no power over you. It’s simply a thought you’ve thought long enough that you now believe it.

For example, if you notice that you freeze every time you think about calling  a prospective client or partner, you need to look deeper. Anytime we perpetually avoid an action that will help us, it’s usually because we’re afraid of rejection. The simple truth is most of us don’t like hearing the word no. We take it personally.

So if fear of rejection is stopping you, that’s okay, you have plenty of company… but don’t stay there! We all have a fundamental need to be recognized, appreciated and loved. That’s why fear of rejection can feel like such a big thing, even though we all know on the mental level … that it’s not.

Listen and trust your intuition. If you’re getting an inspired flash to pick up the phone and call someone, or to go to an event … but you keep putting it off, it’s like telling the universe you don’t want the help. Don’t worry though, because the help is always there whenever you’re ready to receive it.

–> So … what one step can you take today to align with you goal? What have you been avoiding that will help you move positively forward?

–> Write it down. Now see yourself doing this with ease and grace. Feel yourself growing in confidence and faith that you are divinely guided and the universe doesn’t make mistakes! Sure everyone has a right to say no, yet that is never, ever a reflection on your personal worth! In fact, when someone says no it’s always about what’s going on with them. The only way to move forward is to move forward, and your journey can be one of positive anticipation and seeing the best that life has to offer! Expect the best and be open to whatever comes. For you can’t always see in the present moment, the better opportunity that is just around the corner, waiting patiently for you to show up!

We can all look back at past events, and see how when one door closed, a better one opened. So be playful with this as you align with the idea that connecting with our goals is supposed to be fun, and so much easier that we often make it!

Don’t ever let a measly little thing like a fear of rejection, or worry get in the way of your dreams! Don’t ever let it dilute your passion! For a no is simply a yes to something else.

–> Today, it’s time to ACT on the stuff that will help you move forward.

Take a step, even if it feels scary because with each move forward you will grow in confidence! Move forward playing in the sandbox of time and space, meandering through the prairies of peace and joy, and seeing all your greatest dreams and goals coming true!

Seeing you leap tall buildings in a single bound,
