Never give up on your dreams. For they are true reflections of your potential. Allow them to take root and grow. Nourish them with your attention and water them with your imagination. Believe in them, just as your all-knowing creator believes in YOU!

TIME to Truly Decide: * About 4 Minutes! *

We pass through three phases on our way to divine discernment.

In the early stages of our human journey, we do what other people want us to do.

Then at some point, we progress to the next stage, where we do what we think we “should” do.

And then thankfully, if we’re willing to find the courage, we progress into the third stage, which is doing what we truly want to do.

Yet deciding what we want isn’t always a slam dunk. Sometimes we’re not sure. And it makes sense that we’d need some time to figure out this process of knowing what we truly want to expand in our experience. So if you’re caught in uncertainty, this may help you sort it out.

In the first stage of our human journey, someone else did the deciding for us. And even though we didn’t always like this arrangement, it was easy. We went along for the ride, for the most part. And there was safety in that scenario, because an authority figure had the responsibility of deciding. So we didn’t really have to face the consequences of choice.

Yet the Self becomes stronger with each decision we make. So at a soul level, we don’t really want to stay in stage one forever.

So, what happens in the second stage? Well, we burden ourselves with “shoulds” and “have-tos”. We make choices based upon the desired outcomes, with little or no thought about enjoying the journey… as we forge ahead to the promised land, of goals realized. For the most part, we’re still living by someone else’s rules, but don’t recognize that we’re doing so.

We go into over-responsibility, and pleasing other people in order to fit in … or we make decisions on the basis of someone else’s concept of success … or to fulfill culturally defined roles and responsibilities. And so life feels hard. We  struggle, push, and overdo in an  attempt to prove something, either to ourselves, or to someone else.

So in the second stage of our journey, we’re accepting more responsibility for our decisions, but we’re still not really deciding what we truly want to experience. Even though we think we’re deciding, we’re allowing social norms or someone else’s ideas to decide for us! We do what we think is expected. We do what we think is necessary to fit in. We make decisions in an attempt to fill a void.

Naturally, there are aspects we enjoy in every stage of life. Yet, at some point, we start to question our assumptions and beliefs. There’s a whisper of discontent. Something doesn’t feel quite right, but we’re not sure what it is. Does this sound familiar? So we begin to look deeper. This is usually a sign that we’re transitioning into the third stage.

And in the third stage, we reclaim our Personal Power, we become who we truly are. This requires courage and shedding the fears and wornout beliefs that don’t reflect who we truly are. We step out of the Human Doing and into the Human Being. We recognize where we’ve been led by a need to feel good enough. In this stage, we recognize our value, and understand that success isn’t tied to: what we accomplish, a job title, or an annual salary. We know that success is measured by something very different. It is measured by our ability to allow ourselves to be genuinely happy, being and doing what we truly want to be and do.  Now our decisions are based upon what we authentically want to expand in our experience, at a soul level.

So now we’re back to the Soul Truth, we’ve been exploring. Which leads us naturally to the question… how do we know what we really want at a soul level?

1) Appreciate that life has, and is teaching you how it feels when You aren’t really making the decisions. These experiences have given you the gifts of wisdom and compassion!

2) Decide that you want to follow your own path.

3) Then commit to making decisions, not just because of where they may lead, but because you want to enjoy the journey!

4) From a state of inner peace, ask yourself questions such as:

 - What would I prefer to experience or what would I enjoy?

 - How do I want to feel? 

 - Who do I want to be? 

 - What would this look like? 

 - Then based on those answers, what do I really want to do?

By using these or similar questions in this sequence, you’re leading from the heart, from Soul Wisdom, rather than from the intellect. Higher wisdom and knowingness reside in how we feel, not in linear thought. Thinking helps us create, organize and understand on the mental level, which is important. But the true You, who knows what she truly wants, isn’t found in the head. You’ll find her through the heart!

Decide from the heart, think with the head.

What is Soul Truth?

Soul Truth is Personal, although there will always be Universal Truths that operate automatically and without exception.

Your Soul Truth is your personal use of Sacred Law… for it is done unto you as you believe. And you decide what you believe!  And in your thoughts rest your Personal Truth, …your use of Sacred Law.

So, what are we seeking to understand? We want to know Truth which is unclouded by the lower aspects of self. You may call the confused aspects an unhealthy ego, orphans, unresolved painful experiences, or lower self.The term you choose doesn’t matter.  For you know when you are led by anything other than your Higher Truth.

You feel Truth and know it without the need for rational thought.

And in Universal Laws are Truths of Nature that bring order to the Universe. These Laws  bring planets and people into being. These Laws allow everything to interact harmoniously  without the need to consciously monitor, regulate or control the moving parts.

The natural order of life is to grow and expand. So, the first Law is…

1) the Law of Absolute Dimension, which means we are living in a universe of infinite expansion. It ensures that you will always grow and evolve, just as all life will.

2) The next law is the Law of One Consciousness, which means that there is One Creative Life Force that is all knowing, all loving, and everywhere present. It unifies us in a vast ocean of peace, which penetrates everything. It is unconditional.

3) The Law of Creative Belief is next. Again, “it is done unto you as you believe”. This you know, for it is self-evident.

4) The Law of Attraction brings resources together within and without. In other words, your thoughts emote, or create your state of consciousness in which joy or sorrow, hope or  fear, for example are cultivated and experienced. This acts as a mental magnet bringing together those people, places and things that resonate at the same frequency.

5) There is also the Law of Integrity which says that you can not get it wrong. This is another way of saying that nothing matters. That being said, everything matters is also true, because we are each born for a deep and joyful purpose, to experience life fully, and to learn more about Self, as individualized spirits on a human journey! So it does matter that you make the effort to embrace life, but not so that it burdens you. For your Soul Desire is to enjoy the journey, down to the last drop. Your intention was never to punish yourself with “have-tos” and “shoulds”!

Move lightly today in faith and abundance, knowing that you are indeed a conscious creator!

Close your eyes and see yourself moving with ease, relishing the aha moments, and embracing life fully and completely. See yourself knowing to the very core of your being that there is nothing beyond you! For you have within you all the knowledge, resources and experiences that you desire. And so it is!

I’m going to ask you a very important question, one that may initially feel uncomfortable. Yet if you work through your initial reaction, you’ll discover the power and purpose of this
liberating query. And in answering this prophetic question, you’ll receive the greatest reward imaginable. So take a deep breath, and read the following question, paying attention to how you feel.

What do you Love about Yourself?

What aspects of yourself do you most appreciate? This question is very powerful, because as you answer it, you’re able to connect with unconditional self-love. Is there a greater gift
that you could give yourself?

Yet isn’t funny, that so many divine beings feel uneasy about such a simple and self-defining question? We could dwell on the reasons why denying our own  greatness is so  prevalent in our social consciousness. But the causes aren’t that important.

What does matter is whether or not, you’ll allow yourself to answer this question, and celebrate the True You.

If you contemplate this query every day, you’ll grow in love and appreciation for your precious individuality. And when that grows, so does your respect and sanctity for all life. Imagine the difference in the relationships between people and nations…if we were taught and encouraged to hold ourselves in high esteem? There’d be no reason for defensiveness, because there’s be no feelings of superiority or inferiority.

Practice answering this question daily, while driving, walking, taking a shower, or in between appointments… and you’ll quickly shed any self-deprecating thoughts.

For how can we truly love and value others, if we do not love and value ourselves?

Living life fully and without fear begins in unconditional self-love. And as we grow in kindness and appreciation toward ourselves, we’re able to share that unconditional  appreciation for others as well.

So, what do you love about yourself right now, at this moment in time? Find ten or more aspects that you fully appreciate and enjoy! Reach for the stars and don’t be afraid to celebrate your life! Then tomorrow come up with ten more and so on.

Stand boldly in your love of self and others. I know it takes courage, but remember who you are … the wise, the divine one, the lionhearted!

Here’s an utterly delectable and easily digestible, impeccable fantastical option – you can move boldly forward with a light heart!

Refuse to dwell upon what didn’t happen last month, or what was left unfinished yesterday. For the end of one season brings many new opportunities to explore, discover and celebrate your one-of-a-kind success.

Trust that all you’ve worked so hard to achieve, will come to pass. It can be no other way… when you know it is so!

WORD COUNT: 380 Short, Yet Incandescent Words

TIME to “Be-Dazzled”: * About 2 Minutes  *

As I was walking a few days ago, I was asking my Higher Self for guidance in a particular area. And at that very moment I was inspired to look down. Resting on the ground, directly in front of me, was a purple piece of stationary that read, “Believe in Magic”.

I’ve been carrying that piece of paper in my pocket ever since. It’s a reminder that every decision I make, is a choice between getting lost in the mundane, or celebrating life’s magic. I think I’ll choose the magic!

And although we know this isn’t always easy, it is definitely worth the effort. For if our thoughts create our reality, then wouldn’t magic be far more exciting and rewarding, than the disempowering mental chatter that’s so pervasive in our social consciousness?

Dismissing life’s magic as too idealistic or ungrounded in scientific fact, well that’s certainly an option. But even the greatest scientists recognize the power of our perspectives. One of my favorite Albert Einstein quotes reads: “There are only two ways to live your life. One is though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.”

Whether you like the word miracle, or magic, they carry the same wonder and potential for expanding your concept of what’s possible!

These words remind us how extraordinary life is! I mean really… what are the odds that we’d be able to stick ourselves on a planet, keep ourselves anchored on its crust, as we drive cars, surf the net, and play in the sandbox of time and space…all while hurtling around a molten-hot sun, at the rate of 67,000 miles per hour? Can you imagine the immense organizing power and consciousness that’s required to pull that one off? It’s certainly beyond me, that’s for sure!

We have a tremendous opportunity to guide ourselves into more joy and wonder. All that’s required is a small shift in thinking. Instead of going through the motions, we can ask, will I choose to live in life’s magic today, or will I get lost in the ordinary? And before reacting to minor challenges or annoyances, we can pause and ask, will I choose the miracle, or the burden?

Let’s choose the magic and the miracle!

There’s never a need for regrets, for today is a new day. One that brings with it, infinite possibilities to break free from the shell of all work and not enough play, or too much routine and worry.

Pick one awe-inspiring thing today, perhaps something you’ve wanted to do, but dismissed because of ” too many responsibilities”, or because of what “other people might think”. Then go do it, and revel in it!

Take out your crayons, walk in the park, sit under a tree, jump in a puddle, gaze into the sky, or play with the clouds.

It takes only a few moments to feed your spirit. Embrace the freedom and the wonder that is waiting for you now!

Let your imagination take you there, and above all, enjoy your journey!

WORD COUNT: 306 Short, Yet Powerful Words

TIME to Live to Believe: * Less Than 2  Minutes! *

“It’s time to start living the life you’ve imagined.” ~ Henry James

Sometimes when we bump up against an unexpected event, or something we don’t want, we become overly focused on the perceived issue.

Yet most often,  life’s challenges are simply opportunities to learn and grow.

If you notice that you have a pattern of questioning whether or not you’re on the right path… or if you succumb to self-doubt when challenges arise, then it’s time to change that channel!

Any reaction that is based on fear, or any habitual response that keeps you from following your dreams, is simply old programming. And if you want to move forward, then it’s time to change the channel.

Anytime you’re presented with disempowering mental dialogue, change the channel. It’s old programming, and that’s all it is. Don’t give it another thought.

Instead find a channel that allows you to feel deeply and vitally alive. Find a channel that says you could not have imagined it … if you didn’t have the power to be, do or have it. For that is the truth! You are pure potential, that is the real you! You are not some old, worn-out, limiting thoughts that were picked up long ago.

That’s just old programming, and you don’t have to get stuck in reruns, or wonder where it came from. Just tune into a better philosophy, one that matches who you really are. 

Live from the power of your most uplifting perspectives, and you will create a masterpiece. For inspiring viewpoints are the only thoughts worth thinking, and those are the only thoughts worthy of you! Joy is not in things, and it’s not in old vantage points that no longer serve you. For you are unstoppable and that is real life!

TIME to DECIDE & KNOW: * Less Than 2 Minutes! *

Whenever we are in the process of deciding, we are in a state of asking. This is STEP ONE.

Releasing the question is STEP TWO.

Receiving the answer is STEP THREE.

If we stay in the question, we can not receive the answer. For asking and receiving are different frequencies of energy.

When we ask, we are broadcasting a request for information, clarity, or a desired experience. To benefit from the question, we must be open and willing to receive. To ask is to seek, and to receive is to find. Here’s how this might look.

1) Ask
2) Release, knowing that your question has already been answered.
3) Allow the answer to come, and it will.

With practice, the answer can feel instantaneous. The timing simply depends on how big the gap is between what we want to know… and what we can hear, or receive.

To discover the answers you seek, just ask, release and allow!

If you have a question, ask it now.  Then let it go.

If you need help shifting your focus, you can affirm; “I am now open and ready to receive the answer.” You can pause for a few moments and enter into quiet meditation, or you can move onto another activity. The answer may come within a matter of seconds, or you may receive your answer as you’re driving your car, or taking a walk.

Just know that receptivity is not possible if you are feeling agitation, stress, or anger, for example. However, a state of contentment, relaxation, or peace allows you to hear the wisdom that resides within you.

The answer doesn’t have to travel far and wide. For the answer is within the question, and within you! And by the way, it’s perfectly okay to feel delighted, knowing that you are both wise and wonderful!

Consider a desired event or goal that has not yet materialized. Breathe deeply and smile at your innate goodness. Know right now, this moment, that all the power of the universe bows to your desires. And there isn’t anything that you can not change, expand, or experience.

Imagine the inspiring event that is calling you forward. See it in your mind’s eye, feel the joy that is now yours as you receive this precious gift.

There’s no doubt, thought or habit that can hinder your ability to receive this bounty. You are so very capable and worthy of receiving all that you envision. And far more revelry is in your future.  For you are an eternal soul, one who lives life fully and courageously from divine insight and bliss.

You earned your wings long ago, so allow your sacred dreams to fly!
