What 24KT strategies are you using to grow your business?

One way to express more of your creative side and stand out in a crowd, is to use some of the basics with a twist. That twist helps you get better results, and have more fun as you build relationships with more of your ideal customers.

Here are some examples of how you can use some basic tools to turn your marketing into PURE GOLD.

BUSINESS CARDS: Use the back of your business card for a promotion, checklist, or valuable reference for your ideal customers, like “7 Ways to Save More and Spend Less”.

BRANDING: Does the name of your company lend itself to a mascot, icon, color or a play on words, for example, sweets instead of suites? Once you have a brand, use it on everything – from promotional products, web sites, voicemail greetings, brochures, flyers, bulletin boards, signing and invoices.  Repetition builds recognition.

GET NOTICED AND HELP OTHERS: Become a sponsor, create your own industry award, set up a scholarship fund, or donate a portion of your proceeds to a charity that you are passionate about and is likely to be seen by your ideal customers.

REPEAT, REPEAT, REPEAT. Once isn’t enough. Most marketing experts will tell you that it takes five to seven touches in an 18 month period before some people will take action. This is often referred to as “The Rule of Seven”. It’s good to know when you’re budgeting and planning your marketing.

An effective strategy requires planning and persistence. Marketing is a creative process that helps you share your unique gifts with those who can benefit from them. So, don’t get hung up looking for the one perfect method. It’s far more important to do it consistently than perfectly.

Decide, Be, Plan then Do!
