If you’re not getting the sales results you’d like, or if you’re not attracting your ideal customers to you, review the 7 basics.
1. Are you using your ideal customer list to craft your messages, so you connect with the right people in a meaningful way?
2. Are you using taglines, special offers, or building awareness about new services in your email signatures?
3. Do you use your voicemail greeting to tell your ideal customers how you can help them solve a problem like only you can?
4 Are you using the 3 Foot Rule to tell people what you’re really excited about, when you’re asked what’s new… or what do you do?
5. Do you take business cards, product samples or marketing material with you throughout your day? I leave a supply in my car, so they’re always handy.
6. Repeat, Repeat, Repeat. Don’t worry, this doesn’t mean you have to be obnoxious. Most people need to be reminded, because we’re all busy. Tell others who may benefit from the information, how you can help them solve a problem or fulfill a need. The timing may not always be right the first time, and most people need to see something a few times before they really connect with it.
7. Look before you leap. Before choosing a strategy, be certain it follows the 24kt marketing formula!
