What’s the best route?

1. It’s high leverage. In other words, it’s as simple as possible. Complex does not equal better. Often the simplest marketing strategies are the best because they take less time to implement and you can see results faster.

2. It’s marketing that gives you a high Return On your Investment (ROI). So it’s high value and low cost in terms of dollars, time and energy. The higher the ROI the better. A high ROI intention means you want to attract the most ideal customers in exchange for the least amount of money, time and energy spent.

3. Your marketing strategies fit your budget. Ask a successful business owner, and they will probably tell you that many of their best strategies are low and no cost methods they apply consistently. Advertisers may not tell you this because they benefit when they sell you ad space. So invest advertising money cautiously given your comfort zone and a realistic budget. You can minimize risk by getting really clear about who your ideal customers are. When you know that well, you understand the best way to reach and connect with them.

4. It Works! Okay, this may seem obvious, but it can be easy to get enticed by the words NEW and DIFFERENT. That’s great for creating a unique message, but it can be costly if you apply NEW and DIFFERENT to an unproven medium or approach.  If you’re considering a strategy that has not been proven to work in your specific market or industry, test it first before jumping in with both feet!
