Q: How can you grow your business with your ideal customers faster AND still have a balanced personal life?
A: You begin by thinking tactically. That is, know the answer to this one simple, but high-leverage question.
1) What do you already have, that you can build upon? The answer will point you to the shortest route possible.
Said another way – do you have existing products, resources, relationships, skills or associations that can help you attract more ideal customers?
Chances are, you can come up with dozens of ideas that build upon the foundation you’ve already created, just by living your life. I call this “harvesting the gold that is planted around you.”
The problem is, we don’t always take the time to answer this question first. When that happens, we waste precious time and energy starting from scratch or reinventing the wheel, when all along we have a better, faster route right there, just waiting to be used.
So pause, assess all of the valuable assets you already have, then choose the best route possible, before you jump in and DO.
