The concept of Profits with Purpose started long before I founded this business in 2003. Prior to taking the leap as a business owner, I worked in Corporate America for over 20 years helping businesses grow and prosper.

If you're like me you've worn many hats over the years. For me those hats included serving as a vice president, chief information officer, director, manager and buyer in addition to a mom, spouse, daughter, volunteer, friend and of course, master juggler.  

Many of the symbols of success were there, yet something was missing. There were certainly rewarding moments and I met many wonderful people along the way, yet I felt empty, conflicted, and was exhausted, physically and spiritually.   

Along the way, many friends, colleagues and clients have confided their own stories of dreams, goals, and their search for more meaning and better balance.

Within those stories, were common threads about a frenzied pace, and how they were tired of life living them.  

And these questions were almost always below the surface.

•  How do we find our own Higher Truth? 

• What would it look like to nurture the soul, as well as the bottom line?

• How do we release the have-tos, the shoulds and the inner critic, so we can connect with what we truly want to expand in our experience? 
  

There are many ways to define success. And it's all good ... when it includes your essential ingredients for a fulfilling life.  It's a great disservice to humanity when we allow fear, self-doubt or someone's else's version of success to dictate what we can be, or how far we can go.

Laura Cardone President, Profits with Purpose, Inc.

Laura traded the corner office for a home office in 2003, as President and Owner of Profits with Purpose, Inc. Prior to that, Laura worked for over 20 years with large companies leading hundreds of professionals, and managing multimillion dollar budgets. She is author of Motivation at Work and creator of The Daily Discovery Series. Her published works have been praised by best selling authors Brian Tracy, John Assaraf, Gail Evans, Hal Urban, Ralph Marston and many others. She lives in Virginia Beach, VA with her husband Jim and their too very enthusiastic Golden Retrievers, Sydney and Chelsi.

She has a B.A. in Business Administration and completed advanced studies in Information Systems. Laura's holistic approach and published works merge the most empowering principles from multiple dimensions and modalities. These include 4 years of study in The Science of Mind, over a decade of guided spiritual and consciousness work, and deep exploration in many areas related to living your divine potential.
